Jeff Gasper
Jeff Gasper holds a Telecommunications Engineering degree from Rochester Institute of Technology. During his time at RIT he worked at Sprint PCS in the RF engineering group assisting in the engineering and build out of its Western NY PCS network. While attending RIT he also installed and configured Ascend Communications ATM/Frame Relay equipment in Global Crossing’s POP’s across their nationwide network and immediately started working at Ascend Communications upon graduation as a Technical Team Leader in their Professional Services team.
Jeff was one of the initial members of the carrier sales organization at American Fiber Systems and held various sales, sales engineering and business development roles for nine years during a period in which AFS expanded its fiber footprint throughout the US.
Since the early 2000’s, Jeff has been focused on sales engineering, business development, and the sale of dark fiber and lit services across the United States for service providers, US and International carriers, financial services companies, enterprise entities, data centers, as well as content and wireless providers. Jeff has built long-standing relationships with sales, engineering, and executive level contacts at fiber providers and national and regional data center companies across the country, as well as several international carriers across the US and Canada.
